Frequently Asked Questions

Who is doing the laundry?

Laundr uses a network of independent washers whom are tested through a series of background and quality control checks. During peak hours, excess orders may be sent to a partnered laundromat for processing.

How long does it take?

From the point of order to order completion can take anywhere between 3 and 6 hours depending on how much laundry was sent.

How do you keep track of the laundry?

Laundr’s quality control system consists of a series of checks including multiple weight measurements at each stage of the order process, constant gps tracking, and signatures taken from user, washer and driver at each dropoff.

Can anyone work for Laundr?

Anybody in one of Laundr’s service areas can submit an application to either be a washer or a driver. Each role has separate requirements and qualifications.

How do I tip my driver?

Tipping is not part of Laundr’s philosophy, and the platform does not support it. However, if you would like to thank your driver, please do so verbally. They like that!

How much does it cost?

On average, On-demand orders will hover around $1.10/lb and subscriptions are centered at $0.80/lb.

Where do you operate?

Currently, Laundr only operates in Gainesville, FL. Email us if you would like to request our service in your town.

What kind of laundry detergent do you use?

Laundr offers both scented and unscented (hypoallergenic) detergent.

Can you deliver inside my dorm?

As with other private buildings, we can deliver to the front door or front desk, however we are unable to enter.

How do I give you the laundry?

We will supply you with a black vinyl bag to put your clothes into when we come to your door. When we return your laundry, the bag will be folded inside your Laundr box, and it is yours to keep for your future orders!
